Umrah Package Guide: Economy, Standard, Deluxe & VIP Packages Explained
6 min read

Package names mean nothing until you compare hotel distance, star rating, room sharing and transport. Here is exactly what changes as you move up the tiers.
Economy Packages
3-star hotels 800m–1.5km from the Haram with shuttle service, quad or quint sharing rooms and standard airline seats. Best for young, mobile pilgrims who spend most of the day inside the Haram anyway.
Standard (Silver) Packages
4-star hotels within roughly 500–800 metres, triple or quad sharing, group coach between Makkah and Madinah and a full Ziyarat programme. This is the balance point most Pakistani families choose.
Deluxe (Gold) Packages
5-star Makkah hotels inside the Haram complex or within 300 metres, double or triple sharing, extended Ziyarat, and a senior religious scholar with the group. Ideal for parents and elderly pilgrims who cannot walk far.
VIP (Platinum) Packages
Haram-view rooms, private GMC or Hiace transport, business class flight option, full catering, personal scholar and VIP airport handling — a completely managed pilgrimage with no queues to manage yourself.
What to Verify Before Paying
Always ask for the hotel name in writing, the exact walking distance, the room sharing basis, whether transport is private or shared, and whether the price is per person or per room. Basma Umrah issues all of this on a written quotation.
